The CLUSTERJET print server handles all print data preparation in a high-performance background process.
First, the data intended for a print movement is extracted from the bitmap files generated by a RIP software.
The data is processed by separate calculation units, each intended for a row of nozzles, and transformed into a sequential data stream that can be fed directly to the print heads.
During processing, preset options for variable droplets, multipassing, stitching, skipping and layer build-up are taken into account.
Highly efficient banding avoidance techniques are used to enhance print quality.
After processing, the print server sends the print data to the print modules assigned to it.
