The part of our software that controls all other hardware and software components as a higher-level control instance is referred to as the machine control.
In most cases, the machine control system consists of a PC program that controls not only the print servers but also the motors and all ancillary units of an inkjet press.
The software communicates with the connected print servers via TCP-IP and can be executed together with the user interface in one process.
The print servers are controlled by the machine control system and do not need to communicate with each other.
Often the print server and the overall control are run on the same PC.
The CLUSTERJET system can control any number of print heads, even of different types and manufacturers, in a coordinated manner. The wide range of configuration options allows the uncomplicated setup of almost any conceivable topology.
