The CLUSTERJET system contains a module for the simulation of servo motors which is implemented completely independently of all other functions.

With the help of this module, a 2-axis scanning printing system can be simulated completely “dry”.

The module has its own TCP/IP port and and can be controlled using common tools such as PuTTY or TeraTerm via a simple protocol.

For a planned movement, target position, travel speed and the steepness of the acceleration and deceleration ramps can be freely specified.

The quadrature signals generated by this module for a print axis are output by the hardware via freely selectable pins and, if they are to be used, must be fed to the encoder signal input of a print module via cable connections.

The development of an overall control process can be done with just a laptop and one of our boards.
